Malala has done a lot more for peace than Obama could dream of:
The Nobel Prize for Peace was awarded to Indian Kailash Satyarthi and Pakistani Malala Yousafzai for their advocacy for the rights of children around the world. The Norwegian Nobel Committee made the Nobel Peace Prize announcement early Friday at the Norwegian Nobel Institute in Oslo. Many saw Malala Yousafzai, a globally recognized advocate for the education of girls, as a leading contender for this year’s prize. She was also considered a likely candidate for the 2013 award. There were a record-setting 278 candidates for the 2014 prize, 47 of which were were organizations.
